St George’s Bloomsbury and its facilities are regularly used
by community groups and organisations. Volunteers and local residents recently completed a gardening project to contribute to 'Bloomsbury in Bloom'. Created by Garden Designer Josie Jeffrey and situated in the North Tower courtyard, it is hoped that keen gardeners in the community will help maintain and develop the garden.
Vocality Singing
A new lunchtime choir for anyone who loves to sing
A new activity is also being planned for Monday lunchtimes. Vocality, a Surrey based singing organisation, is bringing its expertise into London, and it’s new choir will be open to anyone who wants to sing. There are no auditions and you don’t need to be able to read music as all songs are taught by ear and teaching CDs are provided so that singers can listen to their parts at home. It is intended that the choir will perform two or three times a year. Vocality rehearsals will take place from 1.00pm to 2.00pm starting on Monday 21st September but in the meantime you are invited to attend a FREE TASTER SINGING WORKSHOP
Monday 14th September 1 - 2pm at St Georges.
Do come along and join us on 14th September. If you would like more information about Vocality or to register your interest, please view website here, or email Catherine. Alternatively, you can telephone on 07985 094322.
