Weekly services at St George’s Bloomsbury take place on
Sundays (10.30), Wednesdays (13.10) and Fridays (13.10).
Parish Eucharist – Sundays at 10.30
This service follows Order One (traditional language) of
Common Worship with ceremonial and music reflecting the
high church tradition of St George’s.
The parish choir sings on the third Sunday of each month.
On other Sundays, the music is led by a professional cantor.
Tea and coffee is served in the vestry following the service,
and a parish lunch is held once a month.
A crèche is available during Parish Eucharist.
Weekday Mass - Wednesdays and Fridays at 13.10
This service follows a modern language rite and
lasts approximately 25 minutes.
Compline – first Wednesday of each month at 18.30
Compline (the ancient office of night prayer) is said at 18.30
on the first Wednesday of the month and weekly
(Wednesdays at 18.30) during Advent and Lent. It consists of
psalms, responses, prayers and a short scripture reading.
The service lasts approximately 25 minutes and concludes
with 5 minutes of silent prayer.
Sunday 11th May- Whitsunday.

Preacher: The Revd. David Peebles Chaplain, London School of Economics.
Sunday 15th June
10am Parish Eucharist (Sung by former members of the University of London Church Choir, to mark the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the choir to serve St George's when it was the University Church).
Music: Byrd Mass for four voices.
Sunday 22nd June
The Bishop of Edmunton will be at St George's to administer Holy Baptism and Confirmation.
