Music has always been at the heart of worship and community life at St George’s Bloomsbury.
Our church has long welcomed both congregations, community choirs and audiences to experience the power of music in services, concerts, and cultural events. 

Central to this is the piano, an instrument that supports everything from intimate moments of reflection in worship to large-scale performances and world-class recitals.

For many years we have relied on our 6-foot Bechstein grand, built in 1902. While it has served us faithfully, the instrument is now sadly incapable of meeting the demands of either liturgy or concert performance. To continue offering music of the highest standard, we are launching a fundraising appeal for a new piano—an instrument that will allow our musical life to thrive and inspire future generations at St George’s.​
